Our Voices. Our Stories. Our Future.

Where Hawaiʻi tells its own stories.

A world-class film and media campus rising on Hawaiian homelands — built by our lāhui, for our lāhui.

Now in development: Land secured. Campus design underway. Next up: The QLS Store — our flagship shop for QLS-branded apparel and goods. Be first to know. Join the list

A studio unlike any other

Queen Liliʻuokalani Studios is a 5-acre film and entertainment campus in development at ʻEwa, Oʻahu on Department of Hawaiian Home Lands property. When complete, the campus will be home to professional sound stages, a 500-seat theatre, a cultural museum, and immersive experiences rooted in the moʻolelo of these islands — including a replica waʻa voyaging experience.

More than a production facility, QLS is an economic engine for Native Hawaiians: jobs, training, and creative infrastructure that keeps our stories, and the value they create, in Hawaiian hands.

The Vision

The Work in Motion. Building it, step by step.

This is not a concept — it's a project in motion:

Queen Lili‘uokalani Studios is developed by Kalanianaʻole Development, a Native Hawaiian–led development company with active projects across four islands.

Our land is secured and our founder, Patti Ann Tancayo, has personally invested in carrying the vision forward through planning, design, and development. Our first runs of QLS-branded merchandise sold out — a small preview of the flagship QLS Store now being built on the property, where visitors will find apparel and goods designed in Hawaiʻi and made to carry our name across the world.

Next milestone: The QLS Store

The QLS Store

Wear the story

Our first pieces — the QLS Founders Tee, Hoodie, and Hoodie Jacket — sold out. New collections are in development now, designed by our creative team and sourced from partners who meet our standard for quality and integrity.
